Boval Company, LP Reorganization
Cleburne February 1, 1012 -- Boval Company, LP, today announced a reorganization.  The changes, effective January 1, 2012 reorganized the company’s biological and chemical solutions businesses to improve operational efficiencies and strengthen both business units.  This reorganization will be transparent to the company’s customers, vendors and employees and will allow for better integration for future acquisitions.

At the heart of the reorganization is the formation of two new business groups:
  • The biological component production group based in Cleburne, Texas will be reorganized into Boval BioSolutions, LLC.  This group includes all albumin production, cell culture reagent sourcing and diagnostic chemicals.  The site will also serve as a central laboratory for the entire company

  • The chemicals solutions manufacturer based in Ft.Collins, CO will be reorganized into Chata Biosystems, LLC.  This group provides custom support solutions to the QC laboratories and production facilities in the pharmaceutic, energy and agriculture industries.
  • Boval Company, LP will continue to be the parent of both organizations with Cody Yarborough remaining President.  The company’s headquarters will remain in Cleburne, Texas.

Chata Biosystems, a Fort Collins, CO based division of Boval Company announced today the promotion and appointment of Michelle Stahla to QA/QC Manager of the Colorado facility.  Ms. Stahla has been employed with Chata since 2008 in a Quality Supervisor role.  She holds a degree in Biological Sciences from Colorado State University and was previously named a Senior Researcher of the Year.  “Since the acquisition, Michelle has demonstrated a high degree of intelligence and ethics in maintaining the quality standards at Chata and will be instrumental in the integration of the two companies” according to Cody Yarborough, President of Boval.  Ms. Stahla can be contacted at (970) 530-2229 or by email at mstahla@chatasolutions.com.

Boval Company, LP, a Texas-based manufacturer of cell culture and diagnostic biological raw materials announced today that it had acquired Colorado based Chata Biosytems, Inc.  Chata is a leading supplier of custom solutions and instruments to the pharmaceutical analytical laboratory industry and pilot plants, specializing in HPLC media, IC media, dissolution solutions, buffer solutions and HPLC water.  Cody Yarborough, Boval President, stated, “We are in the middle of building  a really dynamic company with a diversified portfolio of offerings for our customers in the life sciences, biotechnology and biofuels industries and this acquisition will only build on our goal of being a complete supplier to the rapidly growing biopharmaceutical processing markets  ”   Chata Chairman, Ted Ziemann stated: “Founder, Ed Neas, and I are very proud of the consistent high quality reputation that Chata has developed over its thirteen year history as a supplier to the life science and biofuels industries and the strong value that Chata continues to bring to our customers.
